My name is Carla. I was born and raised near Leland, Mississippi. I've always loved growing plants and flowers. As a child, I would ask my mom if we could go to the nurseries? After I was grown, I worked at a small nursery before I came to teach school in Texas, where I met my husband, Andy Schmidt. Some of our best memories after we got married were working together to do the landscaping around our little house. I've learned to love the tropical varieties available here, and have enjoyed combining them with the tried and true plants of my childhood. Welcome to my nursery.
